According to information received, Karim, a resident of Pakistan, had entered the Indian border around 5 pm on Friday. Karim, who came to the Indian border by mistake, was questioned by the Border Security Force and allowed to eat. He was later handed over to Pakistan. Karim, an eight-year-old Pakistani boy, had accidentally crossed the border into India at 5 pm on Friday.
He confessed to being a Pakistani when questioned by border guards. This was followed by a meeting between the Indo-Pak troops at 7 pm. He was later handed over to Pakistan.
Meanwhile, Gemararam Meghwal, a young man from Sajjan Par in Barmer district, has been lodged in a Pakistani jail for six months. However, Pakistan is not doing anything to send him back. Gemraram, a resident of Sajjan area within the limits of Bijrad police station in Barmer district, had crossed the border into Pakistan on November 5 in the dark of night. He was caught by Pakistan Rangers on November 6 as he was crossing the border into Pakistan. Pakistani Rangers informed the Indian BFS officials about this and imprisoned him. The Pakistan Rangers informed the BSF about this when 84 goats crossed the border into India from Pakistan. After the goats reached Barmer across the border, a conversation took place between the BSF and the Pak Rangers. They had said that a young man named Gamararam was in their custody at that time and he was currently in jail.
